About Me
I'm a seasoned UK-based writer and editor with a focus on travel, lifestyle and automotive stories. Since 2025, I've been editor of Food and Travel, the world's leading gastronomic travel title with a 25-year heritage.
My journalism career kicked off in 90s London, where I contributed travel features to publications such as the Sunday Telegraph, Sunday Times and Business Traveller. From embarking on a rail and road odyssey through Pakistan to the Khyber Pass, trekking in Russia's Altai mountains, to yachting in Australia's Whitsundays, my diverse assignments have taken me on many adventures. Transitioning into a staff writer and editor role, I lent my expertise to glossy customer magazines for brands such as Thomas Cook, Land Rover, Chrysler and Jeep. I earned the APA's Journalist of the Year award while tackling stories like navigating ice roads in Canada's Arctic, dune bashing in the Sahara and exploring the secret tunnels of Paris with the cataphiles. I have also produced drive stories for global brands including Lexus, Volvo, Vauxhall and Mazda.

In 2009, I moved to Singapore to become Editorial Director at Emphasis Media (later Publicitas Publishing and NewBase), overseeing a portfolio of inflight and contract magazines for clients across Asia, including Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, SIAEC, Jetstar, Changi Airport Group, Audi, Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Singapore Tourism Board and various government organisations and businesses. Later, I served as the Content Director for a leading Singapore-based B2B digital marketing agency, delivering multi-platform campaigns for fintech firms and technology startups. I returned to the UK in 2024.
My career has been defined by a passion for exploring and sharing captivating narratives. What continues to energise me the most is the thrill of hitting the road, uncovering new experiences, places, and connecting with new people—and then translating those discoveries into compelling stories.
